A glass-shatter puzzle for iPhone & iPad
Put the pane back together.
Drag · Rotate · Flip
Vitric is a quiet puzzle for iPhone and iPad. A pane of glass fractures into a field of shards, scattered below the frame. Each one has exactly one home in the solved pane.
Drag a shard up into the frame. Rotate it. Flip it. When its position and angle line up with where it belongs, it snaps home and locks with a soft green glow.
Every puzzle is generated, never hand-authored — the same seed always produces the same pane, so a board you finish can be shared or replayed exactly. No two starting fields look alike.
Lift each shard from the scatter tray and slide it into the frame. Pieces move with your finger, one at a time — no stacks, no fumbling.
A selected shard can be rotated and mirror-flipped with on-screen controls. Harder panes need the right orientation, not just the right spot.
Get a shard close enough in position and angle and it clicks into its solved place, locks green, and stays put. Fewer moves earns more stars.
Vitric has no clock racing you and no fail state. You can set a shard down, walk away, and pick the same pane back up later exactly where you left it. The challenge is the fit, not your reflexes.
Comfort settings let you tune how much help the board gives you. Turn them on, leave them off — the puzzle plays the same either way.
An optional faint outline shows each shard's home in the pane. On by default for early levels, off for a purer challenge.
Generous position and angle tolerances mean a shard doesn't need to be perfect to lock. Tuned for comfortable motor accuracy.
Rotate and flip live on dedicated buttons, not multi-finger gestures — the whole game is playable one-handed with a single finger.
Every pane is built by a deterministic generator from a seed. The content is the algorithm — endless boards, no level packs to run out of.
Impact-weighted cracks denser near the break point, clipped into clean Voronoi shards. Real fracture geometry, not a stock jigsaw cut.
Shards are scrambled with full rigid transforms — rotation and reflection. Higher difficulty gates them in, so the curve stays fair.
Solve in fewer moves to earn more stars. Your progress is tracked locally and the difficulty rises smoothly as you go.
A soft click and haptic tap on every lock, with a gentle flourish on the final shard. Both can be switched off in Settings.
The board autosaves as you play. Close the app mid-pane and reopen to the exact same shards in the exact same places.
No accounts. No servers. No analytics SDKs. Nothing leaves your device — the app runs in airplane mode exactly the same as online.
Vitric is free on the App Store. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no advertising. The whole game is yours.
