Overview

Vitric is a puzzle game for iOS developed by Kevin Hillabolt. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is treated. The short version: Vitric collects nothing, transmits nothing, and runs entirely on your device.

What Vitric Does Not Collect

Vitric does not create accounts, collect personal information, or request your contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos, or any other system-level permission beyond what iOS implicitly grants apps for sound and haptic playback.

Vitric does not contain any third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, crash reporter, or remote logging service. There is no network code in the app and the binary makes no outbound requests.

What Is Stored Locally

Your preferences (sound effects on/off, haptics, and the placement-guide toggle) are stored in UserDefaults on your device. Your in-progress puzzle and level progress are written as a small JSON file to the app's Application Support directory.

That save contains only the puzzle's seed, its generation parameters, and where you have placed each shard — never any personal data. All of this data stays on your device and is removed by iOS if you delete the app.

iCloud and Game Center

Vitric does not integrate with iCloud sync, CloudKit, or Game Center. Nothing is synced across devices and no leaderboards or achievements are reported.

Purchases and Advertising

Vitric is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising of any kind.

Children

Vitric contains no chat, no user-generated content, and no social features. It does not knowingly collect any information from any user, including children. The game involves no language and is appropriate for all ages.

Apple App Analytics

Apple may collect aggregate, anonymized analytics through the App Store if you have opted into sharing analytics with app developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers. That data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is provided to developers as aggregate counts only — no per-user data is exposed.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at vitric.app/privacy.html with a revised date.
